I grew up in a small town called Mariposa, CA.  Now as an adult I have chosen to live in a small town in Oregon.  Small town life isn’t for everyone, but it’s perfect for me.

I am a graduate of Le Cordon Bleu Portland with a degree in Patisserie and Baking.  Before culinary school I worked in a flower shop for 7 years.  I also have a degree in early childhood education.  I still don’t know what I want to be when I grow up.

My husband Ryan, aka Captain Awesome, is my best friend and the love of my life.  We have one son, Samuel.  He is a firecracker who makes us laugh.  We also have two obnoxious little wiener dogs, Mazey and Milly.

I love all things pink, ice cream is my favorite dessert, and on the weekends I drive a race-car.
